21ST TO 23RD FEB 2025

We had a body-breaking strength and kumite seminar with Levan sensei from Tbilisi, Georgia. He came with his team of six members. Our training was from the 21st to the 23rd of February 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a fabulous lunch served by the yacht club. 

His teaching is so precise and clear. He's a Georgian bull with a heart of gold, a body of steel, and a humble soul. His techniques are crisp; movements are super fast and precise with tremendous control. But with every punch or kick, you could feel the blow. 

Like India, with its many cultures and different experiences in every city or state, similarly, in IOGKF, every chief instructor has something special to teach and impart his or her knowledge. That's the beauty of IOGKF Goju Ryu. 

Thank you once again, Sensei Levan and your team, for accepting our invitation to India and making the Gasshuku fun and successful. We wish you a safe journey back home.

Not to forget Sensei Mistry's knowledgeable and deep understanding of kata Sanchin and Tensho. Even at his age of 80, we did not manage to finish the knuckle push-ups he made us do. His technique and power are far superior to all of us, even though we are younger than him. I guess that is why he is known as a legend of karate in India. We are privileged to be training under great masters of IOGKF-Goju Ryu.
